A thread on 2 recent anti Christian attacks by the same policeman of Tamil Nadu-- Superintendent of Police Sakthi Ganesan.
Attack 1: RSS members from Erode District on Sept. 2 stormed into a Sunday evening prayer service at a Christian’s house in the Chennimalai area. As the Christians had just moved into their new home, the gathering also included a house-warming party.

The next morning Ponnaiyan notified political party officials, activists and Christian leaders, saying that the matter must be brought to the Superintendent of Police, Sakthi Ganesan.
Ganesan simply said, ‘This is a very common thing’ and was not at all moved by the incident. He said those words on record in front of the media.

Attack 2: Jesus Power Ministries house church in Sathyamangalam, Erode District that Sunday morning, July 8.

Fortunately, before Kumar could bring any of his heinous thoughts into reality, four of his own friends comes running in, pushes him off of her and takes him away.

The same five men starts beating tge husband and wife. Wife has totally grown weak and collapsed. Her brother, Gyana Prashant, lays himself over her husband to protect him from their blows. They slap her elderly father-in-law also.
Her brother is seriously injured, and an ambulance is called, but the five Hindu hard-liners stops the vehicle, saying “We are the ones who are beaten up.” They get into it, and it leaves.
Pastor Stephen calls for a second ambulance, and it takes them to the government hospital in Satyamangalam. The Stephens are severely injured, & the staff at government hospital says they can only provide first-aid assistance, refera them to Coimbatore District Hospital
The hospital in Coimbatore does not admits the couple for the first two days and treats them as only out-patients during that time.
Police in Satyamanagalam takes the elderly church member in for questioning and files a First Information Report (FIR) against the assailants, who are identified as members of #hindutvaterrorist group Hindu Munnani. Or it was what they thought.
A day later, synod leaders learn that a counter-case has been filed against Pastor Stephen and his wife, by Ganesan in Erode.
Satyamangalam police registers cases against Stephens under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), “voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons,” a non-bailable offense, and fails to book Kumar under Tamil Nadu’s Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.
When asked Mr. Sakthi Ganesan how can the police not book the case under the laws specially enacted for women’s safety in this state, he says he will investigate the matter and then decide what sections must be imposed, completely opposite to the procedure laid out.
