In 17 days, Ecuador will launch its Commissary or invoicing to Assange for his "stay" at the embassy in London. A few thoughts...

Dec 1, 2018 is day one of the "tab" or invoicing.
It is part of the "Special Protocols" which Assange has contested in court (pending decision)
As of Dec 1, 2018 Assange will have to pay for a bunch of things that he has not had to pay for over the duration of the 6 yrs he has been a political refugee, under Ecuador's protection.
New charges or fees: Wi-fi, medical visits and reports, incidentals that Ecuador wants
Irony: Ecuador will be *charging* Assange for being a political refugee, in fear of his life and liberty, when he has never been *criminally charged* with anything. Ecuador is leading the *charge* in handing him over to the US, via the UK police.
Basically, Ecuador is implementing a payment protocol, within the grander Special Protocols, which force him to pay to be a refugee in the embassy.

But, Ecuador has cut off his livelihood (speaking, writing, publishing, researching, being online) so he can't pay.
Likely, Assange will have to rack up a commissary bill that he can't pay for, or he will have to start a separate gofundme page to pay for.
If he doesn't pay his commissary invoice/bill, he may be expelled from the embassy for breaking the Special Protocol.
The Special Protocol for Assange is a detailed list of extremely restrictive conditions which he, his lawyers and any visitors must follow, under threat of him losing is asylum.
So... don't pay the commissary bills? OUT you go !
Don't surrender your electronic devices? OUT u go
Ecuador is not even providing food on a regular basis to Assange.
He can't use the phone to order in. He can't use the Internet to order online for delivery. He can't get groceries delivered. Visitors can't bring him food without surrendering digital devices. It is very bad.
The Special Protocol for Assange (SPA) is essentially an outline on how to frame him for failure.
He is being set up to fail so that Ecuador has "justification" for inviting UK police or Emergency Medics to enter the embassy to remove him, or to expel him.
By design, the conditions within the embassy will get more and more restrictive, suffocating and expensive. His health will suffer b/c his immune system will weaken (no vit. D, irregular eating and sleeping, likely unhealthy food, bad air quality). He already has bad lungs.
If Assange gets a cold, it could escalate to pneumonia more quickly than an average person b/c his immune system is compromised, he's not sleeping or eating properly and his stress is extreme. Add financial pressure, isolation, pain in shoulder and tooth... it is a crucible.
Ecuador WANTS him to get sick.
It's probable that Assange is breathing second-hand smoke either from within the embassy or the ventilation of the building /surrounding units.
ASSANGE MUST BE EVACUATED BY A HUMAN RIGHTS ORG. (@hrw, @AmnestyUK, @MSF or @ICRC) before this happens.

He has PTSD, bad lungs, chronic cough, chronic pain, needs a root canal, is going blind and is being tortured (sleep deprivation, isolation, bad food, psychological stress)
It is also possible (I'd bet money on it) that somewhere in the building, there are open windows which let the damp, cold, polluted London UK air into the embassy where Assange is probably very cold. He has lost weight so he won't tolerate the deliberate climate change. See Gitmo
I tweeted that Ecuador is importing Guantanamo protocols (back in April 2018) I was right.
Limiting solicitor-client privilege / privacy
Limiting access to visitors, journalists or human rights orgs.
Sleep deprivation
Turning up A/C or heat to make environment too cold or hot
Isolation
No internet access
No access to outside
Limited or no access to health care / medical attention
Bad food
Interference with reporting on conditions
Interference with legal processes
At Guantanamo, the guards /overseers understand that any single adjustment or change looks like a minor problem for the detainee but can be dismissed as inconsequential. They know that the compound effect of all the adjustments/restrictions: The sum is greater than the parts.
The cumulative and compounded effect of multiple stressors on Assange's physical, financial, social, professional and psychological well-being is greater than any individual restriction or deprivation they employ.
That is the basis for the Strategic Incapacitation of Julian Assange.

Ecuador is handicapping his access to lawyers.
Access to journalists who could report on the compound effects of the restrictions.
Access to human rights orgs, politicians or any ally, friend /family.
It is bad.
That is why Christine Assange, his mother, issued an urgent distress call on Nov. 5, 2018.
Time is short.

Mobilize to free him. Exercise all your influence to free him.
I am preoccupied by this grave situation. If Assange dies, we are all screwed.

Journalism will be forever handicapped.

I am using handicapped deliberately.

A man in a wheelchair is the president of Ecuador.
He is handicapping Assange.
