These are just a few examples off the top of my head. I am sure people can add plenty more. I know Nazis are Nazis, but Trump says they are very fine people so I felt like it was fair to include them.
Have to add, as so many people have commented below, what the hell sort of writer is talking about Tucker Carlson in the context of Marie Antoinette & the French Revolution rather than Charlottesville? The pomposity (& ridiculousness) is astounding.
It's like a paper you write when you're a high school student at Georgetown Prep & you think you're clever, but when you're a grown up & submit it to the Opinions Editor at @washingtonpost someone is meant to tell you it sounds stupid. Not publish it.
I'm so embarrassed I did not include the horrific harassment of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford here, not least because she is a private citizen, but also because no one on the right is standing up & saying let's all be bipartisan & condemn these attacks. npr.org/2018/11/08/665…
