Corbyn’s doing well again. Points out there’s no mention of ‘implementation period’ because there’s nothing to implement - and notes transition looks as though it can be extended to 2099
He also notes that there will be different regulations for NI, which PM had said she could never sign up to. And good! Points out services & investment shafted, and total uncertainty about Europol and European Arrest Warrant. Finally on Brexit, we have a Leader of the Opposition
May struggling. Now admits ‘implementation’ is indeed a transition - in other words, there’ll be nothing to implement. She can’t argue the central case though: EU gets to decide if we leave the customs union. And still pretends no new economic barrier in Irish Sea. She’s toast.
