McGahn: Scalia died the night of the debate. One candidate had a few names out of the gate. Trump mentioned Bill Pryor and Dianne Sykes. I mentioned another name from the DC Circ--looks at Kavanaugh--but didn't want to make him famous #SCOTUS #FedSoc2018
McGahn: President Trump had the political instincts to create the #SCOTUS list. We waited until the Indiana primary locked up nomination. #FedSoc2018
