All of the political dogma aside, Brett Kavanaugh appears to have lied under oath several times. We impeached a President for that.

•Syrian civil war starts and Iraqi Kurds and YPG are strategic allies to US fighting ISIS in Iraq and ISIS/Assad in Syria
•Turkey saber rattles at Iraqi Kurds and YPG but not much else since they are important US allies ans US troops are embedded with both forces for training and logistical support.

Past few days:

• US backed Kurdish forces in Syria major victory against remnants of ISIS.
• Turkey announces major offensive against Kurdish PKK in their territory (previously threatening the same to YPG)

• Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan/Trump have phone call

• Trump withdraws US from Syria without even consulting Pentagon or Secretaries of relevant depts

I want to be sure we're all clear about something that Brett Kavanaugh said in his confirmation hearings last week. He referred to birth-control pills as "abortion-inducing drugs." That set off a lot of alarm bells for me, and it should for you, too.
Kavanaugh didn't use that term because he misunderstands the basic science of birth control—the fact that birth control prevents fertilization of eggs in the first place. He used that term because it's a dog whistle to the extreme right.
When Kavanaugh called birth control "abortion-inducing drugs," he made it clear that safe and legal abortion isn't the only fundamental reproductive right at grave risk if he is confirmed. Access to birth control is, too.

Birth control pills are not "abortion-inducing drugs." And yet this man wants to sit on the Supreme Court. Reproductive right of women are at risk if #Kavanaugh is confirmed. I hope every self respecting woman understands this is what happens when you vote for a Republican.
"Pro-life" is such a bullshit argument from conservatives since they don't support human development programs once you're born & on earth. Moreover, they're not just against abortion - they just want to punish women for having non-reproductive sex.
Birth control pills are not "abortion-inducing drugs." Reproductive rights of women are at risk under Trump & perilously so if #Kavanaugh is confirmed. Self respecting women must understand that voting Republican is the chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.
