#Brexit *is* more complicated than that, hence our current mess
a) a fantasy free #Brexit
b) a pointless but low cost soft Brexit
c) a meaningful but costly hard brexit
All polling indicates a large part of the 52% voted for a) because it was offered. But it doesn't exist
We can probably assume people didn't vote for pointless Brexit such as we have with May's deal, but all polling indicates they certainly didn't vote in any numbers for a painful brexit & would react badly if it was delivered
There's no point shouting "we need to Leave" if we don't know the kind of Leave a majority would accept
