Interesting thing Trevor does with his Trump criticism is pointing out the ways in which Trump doesn’t make sense (eg “solar panel walls”) – which strikes me as an extremely ineffective way of dealing with bullshitters, who are truth-indifferent and sense-indifferent

What the hell is this?? Margaret Wente wrote a column today defending Charles Murray and his racist book ‘The Bell Curve’

His book is based on racist pseudo-science that argues Black people live in poverty because they have lower 'IQs.'

Lemme break down why this is unacceptable
Murray’s central argument was that social programs will never work for Black people because they are genetically inferior and lazy.

Wente calls his book,, “one of the most prophetic (and wrongly maligned) books of our time.”

Don’t believe me? Let’s hear from Murray.
This quote forms the general thesis for Murray. For him, he sees these racial divides in poverty as something natural.

He chooses to simply ignore the conventional reasons for these divides - like colonialism, slavery, and racism - and justifies it based on genetics
