The Untold Story of:

How Tesla Covered Up A Model S SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTING

by BRIBING the customer (and then reneging on that bribe)

In order to not kill the company.

An Elmer Fudd Exclusive™️

1/
The year was 2014.

$tslaq probably did not exist yet.

@elonmusk had not yet settled a securities fraud lawsuit for tweeting out a fake buyout offer.

But $tsla was still a deceitful, dishonest company up to no good.

2/
Enter our protagonist: Mr Schneider.

Schneider was presumably a true believer.

He took delivery of a Model S on Dec. 31, 2014. His VIN: 62,811.

He paid $133,720. That's ~3x the average annual income in Allegheny County [Pittsburgh] where this took place.

3/
The SAME DAY he took delivery...

His Model S SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTED.

He was driving and noticed smoke/fire behind him.

He was thankfully able to get out of the car.

The backseat, and then car, was engulfed.

The car was a total loss.

Guess what Tesla did...

They tried to cover it up.

Within hours of the crash, Schneider was contacted by a Tesla Regional Manager, Mr. Bruns, to acknowledge a battery issue was seen on his side, and to request that Schneider check-in with Tesla.

Tesla then sent in Seal Team 6.

They flew in to Pittsburgh (Prob on @elonmusk's jet)

They took possession of the car.

They ordered him to keep the fire secret - from both civilians and his insurance company. (wonder if thats insurance fraud?)

$tsla $tslaq

6/x
Then, after Seal Team 6 left,

Lawyer Team 420 rolled in

Mr. S received an email laying things out:

He'd get a new car and an extended warranty if he didn't report this to his insurance and generally kept his trap shut - and if he signed immediately.

He did.

$tsla $tslaq

7/
Guess how this all turned out?

If you thought it worked out well for

@elonmusk

you are right!!!

8/
So...

Tesla came up with its own MAGIC BULLET theory:

They essentially claim that Schneider, while driving, fired a gun in the cabin, causing the fire in the battery.

It only took them 21 days to figure this out (/s)

reminds me of #stevenavery.

9/
however, they refuse to provide the bullet.

that's more than a little bit (sus), @elonmusk.

but they still ripped up the agreement, costing Mr. Schneider $130k (he could no longer go to insurance either) - but that's OK, Tesla reputation preserved.

10/
so hence the impetus for this lawsuit, which ended up going to federal court and was settled. I assume Mr. Schneider got his $ given the fact that his car CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE DRIVING THE SAME DAY HE BOUGHT IT but who knows.

now lets look at the bigger picture.

$tsla $tslaq 11/
So there's a lot more to unpack in this lawsuit. The lawyers do a great job of laying out the psychopath/sociopath business model - Tesla did this cover-up because hiding the truth of scary-bad product quality from consumers is key to its success.

i'll let others dig into all of the beautiful nuggets in this suit.

This link should work to access it: ufile.io/1mytl

if not i'm happy to DM or post the access info to look this up.

anyway... lets try to figure out what this all means.

$tsla $tslaq

13/
AT THE TIME:

This coverup might have saved $tsla. Not an exaggeration. Times was hard back then. Sales were low and losses were mounting. An explosive story like this might have killed the company.

$tsla $tslaq

14/x
AND NOW:

This isn't just FUD. This is a look into @elonmusk's cult of personality and his psychopathic business model. That did not end with one sloppy settlement in 2015. The ripples of this shameful action continue to spread today.

$tsla $tslaq

15/
We know there are dozens upon dozens of Model S and Model X lemon lawsuits (h.t @plainsite). We know there are going to soon be an exponentially ramping # of Model 3 lemon lawsuits based on ones filed to date and social media complaints.

$tsla $tslaq

16/
We also know that there are endless undisclosed model S and X fires and "whomps" - i.e. wheels give out, often causing (or during) a crash (h/t @pickledwombat).

i implore you to scroll through his feed to gawk at the endless Tesla carcasses.

$tsla $tslaq

17/x
This is due to poor design (purposeful or accidental - who knows) of battery, suspension parts, and more, by @elonmusk and tesla.

Yet they haven't done any recall to fix this - they just let the punches roll as they come in and presumably settle more suits.

$tsla $tslaq

18/x
That brings us to the Model 3.

We have reports of 3s that die on the drive home. Model 3s that have range issues. 3s that never really work.

A "saboteur" noted that defective battery packs were being installed in cars due to limited/negligent QC procedures.

$tsla $tslaq

19/
if @elonmusk and @tesla were willing to cover up a SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION fire in a Mode S battery pack in 2014, what else would they gloss over?

Probably anything and everything.

Autopilot issues, weather issues, who gives a sht. Cars are selling.

$tsla $tslaq 20/
so I don't know who fixes this.

definitely not the SEC.

NHTSA? maybe. NTSB? tbd.

but @elonmusk's cars are dangerous and @tesla has suppressed those dangers to this day.

Lets expose that and bring to $tsla the judgement they deserve.

$tslaq

21/
for every Schneider out there (a wronged customer who filed a lawsuit) i'm sure there are ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE more customers who took the silence deal and didn't get played.

when $tsla becomes $tslaq there will be endless stories of bad actors and malice from @elonmusk.

end.
h/t my anonymous source.

PSA: if you have intel on $tsla / $tsla / @elonmusk - but you're compromised, want some amplification, etc - I'm happy to share it.
there was no crash*. within hours of the fire*****
Correction:

@WombatPickled is the account to follow for more Tesla fires, crashes and whompy wheels than you ever thought possible.
