This is a senior DOJ official. He carried on an affair with a subordinate, a clear case of sexual abuse. He ASSAULTED another employee after harassing her. He sexually harassed another employee. He LIED to investigators about his crimes.
“Criminal prosecution of the senior DOJ official was declined. The senior DOJ official retired from his position.”

This is bullshit. This is a clear case of favoritism toward a DoJ employee. Can anyone explain to me how you stop DoJ employees from committing crimes?

Who was responsible, how it came to occur (by human or technical error), and what measures need to be taken to prevent it from happening again will need to be examined, regardless of intent.
If accidental, oversight steps will need to be taken by Congress to ensure states have safeguards in place to prevent such wanton recklessness in creating a widespread public panic.
