This article also mentions Peter Smith. I’m also wondering if Smith’s alleged “dark web” dealings link back to Dennis Nathan Cain and Joseph Schmitz. I did find some interesting links, which are in a thread I did, which I’ll post as a comment to this tweet.

Here's the old article mentioning Joseph Schmitz. Schmitz asked multiple federal agencies to review "dark web material" that he thought was related to Clinton's emails.

Was that client Peter Smith? Or could it have been Dennis Nathan Cain? Odd that Schmitz listed his partnership with Cain's attorney, Socarras, ended in April 2018, same month the Hill article was written.

1. A private firm called MDA Analytics LLC, run by ex-federal criminal investigators, alleges that Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal activities and may be liable for millions of dollars in delinquent taxes and penalties.
2. The submission cites interviews investigators conducted with Andrew Kessel, Clinton foundation CFO saying he was unable to stop Bill Clinton from “commingling” personal business & charitable activities inside the foundation and he “knows where all the bodies are buried.”
3. Clinton Foundation sources confirm that CFO Kessel met with MDA investigators in late 2016 and subsequently was interviewed by FBI agents in 2017. But they insist he did not implicate former President Clinton or the foundation in any illegality.

BREAKING: Two days ago I said we'd soon hear much more about Joe Schmitz. I didn't know it'd be *this* soon. This is a strange story we'll eventually get more details on. There's clearly much more to this—and it may yet involve Peter Smith and Erik Prince. thehill.com/homenews/admin…
2/ What's obvious from this story is that Schmitz (a Trump NatSec advisor) must've been part of a covert Team Trump effort to use the dark web to locate stolen materials that could harm Clinton in the election and ensure Comey was forced to reopen his investigation of her emails.
3/ We know that Peter Smith (just before he killed himself) told a reporter that he had been working with Michael Flynn and other significant Trump aides on a similar dark-web hunt.

Hard to believe he wasn't coordinating with Schmitz, who, like Flynn, was a Trump NatSec adviser.
