Up front, we learn we’re not getting all the details:

Much is redacted. A separate motion was filed asking to file under seal factual material that relates to “pending investigations or uncharged individuals.”

1/ Here’s what we learn: Manafort lied about his contacts with Konstantin Kilimnik

[Mueller filings have said that Kilimnik has ties to the military unit accused of hacking the Democrats.]

Most of Manafort’s interactions with Kilimnik is redacted. Looks like 👇

2/ We can, however, glean that Manafort lied about what he and Kilimnik discussed . . . “each meeting.”

We know Manafort and Kilimnik tried to get two witnesses to lie so that neither Manafort or K. would be found in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

3/ Manafort lied and said K. wasn’t involved in the witness tampering.

Let’s pause to digest this: Manafort is lying for—and trying to cover up for—a Russian with “ties” to the Russian military unit that hacked the Democrats.

And Manafort was Trump’s campaign manager.

4/ 🤔If Manafort was in violation of the FARA, doesn’t that mean he was acting as a foreign agent? And lying to protect another foreign agent?

Recall that Flynn was acting on behalf of Turkey while on the Trump campaign.

5/ “Collusion”—it seems to me — is entirely the wrong word and doesn’t begin to describe what went on between the Trump campaign and foreign governments.

There's actually no "America" in MAGA.

5/ More lies from the Memo:

Manafort lied about a 125K payment

He lied about a criminal investigation going on elsewhere.
BTW, this ongoing criminal investigation is one of the most intriguing mysteries of this weeks memo dump. Who? Where? When?

6/ Finally, Manafort lied about the fact that he kept in touch with the Trump team after his indictment.

This was what had everyone so gobsmacked: While “cooperating” with Mueller, Manafort was in touch with Team Trump.
