USA needs a GDPR. Europe is decades ahead of us and the next Congress needs to catch up. The FTC has clearly failed to protect America’s personal data. Our approach to privacy was a mistake. Time to admit it. Time to get serious.
When we discovered that US voter data was processed by Cambridge Analytica in the UK we realized we could complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. There is no such equivalent in the US. What if Cambridge Analytica hadn’t exported our data to UK?
My personal highlight of 2018: Realizing the work of 2017 had paid off. The world’s first criminal prosecution of Cambridge Analytica is because a simple filing with the UK ICO. Turns out, my Independence Day. Essentially, why is a British company interfering with my elections?

Manafort’s decision to try to play both sides looks even more futile— & gives future witnesses & cooperators a warning. Don’t try to pull one over Mueller. It won’t get past him.
Questions still remain. Why did Flynn ask the Russians to hold off on retaliation to sanctions until Trump took office & then lie about it to the FBI & others? What did the Russians give the Trump campaign that they were going to treat them so favorably once Trump took office?

So big stuff happening with Robert Mueller and to be completely honest I can see both sides being the case.

Either A) it’s a trap. They want us to react in a dem-similar fashion to the Kavanaugh trials. When it’s proven false, we look like hypocrites.

B) It’s totally real.
If it IS real, you can trust a conservative to have proof beyond a shadow of a doubt. None of this “I can’t remember” nonsense.

The most logical thing to do is two things.
1. Have a little glee in the fact this is happening to Mueller.

2. Innocent until proven guilty is still what we believe. Unless I see evidence of this having happened? I won’t believe it too much.
