Number of acres of fertile land owned by these temples : 4,78,000 Acres.

Buildings erected on Temple lands : 33,000

Plots : 22,000.

Prime properties have been illegally encroached.
There are mosques and Christian Cemeteries erected in many HINDU temple lands, there's a Christian NGO in Adyar functioning illegally in a temple land, and a mosque erected in a property owned by Palani Dhandayudhapani Swamy temple. #HRCE

What TN Hindus must be worried most about is the way #HRCE endangering the antiquity and heritage value of Ancient Shrines built by kings Centuries ago, they are still standing taller against all Natural calamities!
Now we have lost 1000s of bronzes out of #HRCE's utter carelessness, and in many cases HRCE officials themselves have played a role in destroying our cultural identities.
We have over 35,000 inscriptions discovered in TN temples, which, comparatively, more in numbers many a times than what have been discovered so far in the rest of India combined, its a huge treasure, but we are losing all of them gradually to sand and water blasting methods.

1/ Manu (The progenitor of Humankind)
All different races of Mankind are derived from Manu and Shradha. The current Manu is Vaivasvata Manu.
2/ The word Manu literary means man but it is a title given to the progenitor of mankind. According to Hindu Puranas there are many kalpas (One day of Lord Brahma the creator) and each Kalpa has 14 manvantara and each manvatara has one manu. So basically each Kalpa has 14 Manus.
3/ The current manu of the present manvantara is Shraddhadeva or Vaivasvata Manu of this current Kalpa. He is the son of Vivasvat (Probably Surya) and is therefore also known as Manu-vaivasvata.
