Am rubbish at predictions, but here are 4 things to watch for in 2019 US politics.
1) Congressional investigations into Trump. Dems about to take control of House. President, his family, his admin, his business in the firing line. Expect a blizzard of subpoenas + hearings.

2) Another year of Mueller. Probe shows no sign of ending. Already court dates in diary for March. One legal bod told me he expects it to run deep into 2019.

3) Dems running for 2020 aligning themselves with progressive wing. Huge energy on party’s Left side in last two years.
Expect to see hopefuls adopting its policies (Medicare for All, much higher min’ wage) and causes (immigrant rights). Will be a key dynamic in the race.

4) Endless talk about bipartisan legislation. Trump’s one-party agenda ended when he lost the House in Nov. He now needs Dem votes.
