Hello Nigerians! There have been at least 250 terrorist attacks in Nigeria since June 2015.

Despite PresiDEBT Buhari’s claim that Boko Haram had been “technically defeated”, more Nigerians—and soldiers alike—have died under a man who promised changed.


June 12—There were several nighttime raids on remote villages in the North East, in which 37 people were killed.

June 22—The Maiduguri Mosque Bombing. Two young female suicide bombers had strapped bombs to kill at least 30 worshippers at the start of Ramadan.
July 1-2—Boko Haram launched coordinated attacks on multiple mosques. 48 men were killed on the first day of the attacks. On the second day, 97 others, men mostly, were killed. Untold numbers were wounded.

July 5—A suicide bomber attacked a church in Potiskum, Yobe State.
July 6—There were two bomb attacks on Jos in which 44 people were killed. Zero soldiers killed.

November 17—There was another terror attack in Yola in a market, killing 32 people, with over 80 people wounded.

January 6—In Izageki village, close to Sambisa, Boko Haram killed 2 people. Another terrorist wearing a suicide belt blew himself at a market killing 5 people.

January 13—A Boko Haram suicide bomber blew himself up in a mosque at Kouyape. 12 people were killed.
January 27-28—In various villages in the outskirts of Maiduguri, there was a rampage resulting in the death of 65 people and over 140 wounded. Although, residents say as many as 100 were killed.
January 29—Two suicide bombers attacked a school housing Nigerian refugees in Cameroon. Four people were killed; twelve wounded.

A 12-year old blew himself in Gombi market killing 11 people.
JANUARY 30—Four kilometers from Maiduguri in Dalori village, Boko Haram terrorists killed 86 people and injured hundreds in a usual coordinated attack.

FEBRUARY—Two female suicide bombers sneaked into an IDP camp, detonated a bomb in Dikwa;killed 60 and wounded 78.
FEBRUARY 13—Boko Haram attacked Yakshari, killing 22 people.

MARCH 16—Three female suicide bombers slipped into Umarari village in Maiduguri, and killed 22 people and injured 18.

MARCH 26—In Tumpun village, Boko Haram raided and killed four people.
APRIL 5—In an attack in Izige, BH killed 3 soldiers and 2 vigilante members. Two suicide bombers also exploded their devices in a public transport vehicle, killing 3 and wounding several others.

APRIL 20—8 people killed in an IDP camp near Cameroon border by two female bombers
APRIL 24—During a raid in Alau village in Borno, BH killed 30 people.

May 12—In Maiduguri, a suicide bomber stopped from entering a Government House killed 6 people and 2 police officers.
MAY 29—In Biu, a tricycle triggered an IED that killed 4 civilians and one soldier who died from his injuries. Two soldiers were wounded.

JUNE 5—A woman was stabbed to death by two men for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed in Kano.
JUNE 15—In Kau Tuva, 4 women were killed and several others abducted.

JUNE 17—BH terrorists attacked a funeral, in which they killed 24 people and injured 10 people.

JUNE 20—In a second attack in one week, 2 people were killed by BH in Wumbi village.
JULY 8—A suicide bombing at a mosque in Borno left 9 people killed and dozens injured. There was also another suicide bombing at another mosque at the same time.

JULY 9—BH terrorists raided a town with guns, burning buildings and killing 7 people.
AUGUST 1—Nine Christians were killed by terrorists, as they also burnt three churches.

AUGUST 10—Boko Haram burnt 60 houses, killed 4 villages and kidnapped one child.

AUGUST 20—Boko Haram killed 7 people with machine guns, kidnapped dozens in Kuruburu Village
AUGUST 21—In Kuburvwa, a village near Chibok, Boko Haram killed 11 people and raped scores of women.

3 people killed, 24 injured in a suicide bombing attack at a market in Mora.
SEPTEMBER 4—Terrorists riding on a camel killed 5 people, wounded several, and burnt houses before they were fought off by local militias.

SEPTEMBER 19—Boko Haram claimed to have killed 40 soldiers in Malam Fatori
SEPTEMBER 25—Four soldiers and civilian JTF members were killed in an ambush by Boko Haram in Miyati and Dareljamal towns in Kaduna State.

SEPTEMBER 26—The Army lost one officer and 3 soldiers to a landline and ambush by Boko Haram in Borno
OCTOBER 11—Five villagers were killed in Borno by suspected members of Boko Haram.

OCTOBER 12—A bomb explosion left 18 people dead in Maiduguri.

OCTOBER 17—Boko Haram claimed it killed 20 soldiers in Northeastern Nigeria.

OCTOBER 29—Eight killed by 2 bombers in Maiduguri.
NOVEMBER 1—Nine people were killed when a car bomb exploded near a military checkpoint in Gubio.

NOVEMBER 5—An army officer and 6 soldiers were killed in a gun battle in Borno.

NOVEMBER 8—A gunman killed more than 30 gold miners in Maru.
NOVEMBER 8—Four dead, 6 injured as 2 suicide bombers exploded an explosive in Maiduguri.

NOVEMBER 11—Two people were killed in an early morning bomb explosion in Umulari, Maiduguri.

NOVEMBER 16—Lt. Col BU Umar died, 8 others injured in a Boko Haram ambush.
NOVEMBER 18—Suicide bombers caused the death of six people and injuring many others in a coordinated multiple bomb blasts.

NOVEMBER 22—Six soldiers were killed in an attack on a military base; surrounding houses burnt. A woman with explosives was shot down.
NOVEMBER 23—At least two people were killed in a suicide bomb blast in Maiduguri.

DECEMBER 9—In Madagali, two Boko Haram bomb explosions left at least 57 dead and 177 injured.

DECEMBER 11—In Maiduguri, 3 we’re killed in two suicide bombing attacks.
DECEMBER 13—Boko Haram attacked a military base in Kamuya village in Borno State, leaving scores dead.

DECEMBER 17—A member of the JTF was injured during an operation in Sambisa Forest.

DECEMBER 26—Three days after Buhari said BH are on the run, 2 bombers struck Maiduguri.

JANUARY 7—BH terrorists attacked an army base in Buni Yadi, Yobe State, killing at least 5 soldiers.

JANUARY 10—After disguising as visitors, 3 2 female suicide bombers killed 3 persons when they went into residences in Kalari area.
