Warming: I’m about to rant for just a second...so I drove home & grandma says she wants a WhatABurger, so to Newport News we go. And this trash parks beside me, hits my car with his door because the parks are loco, and says some smart shit inside... 
WhatABurger opens at 11am, it’s 10:55 so I get out and go to the door because the line is about to wild. I’m first, then an older black man, then sons of the confederacy follows. Don’t know the age, bc it’s hard to tell but he’s definitely getting a senior discount...
So right out loud, he says “all kinds o’ critters out here for a burger today” and I feel the older black guy physically step closer to me, away from dukes of hazzard. Two middle age white guys walk up and I guess for added measure he repeats himself...critters, where sway?
And adds “tain’t never been no need fo a line, THEY sho nuff can mess up good thang” to which one of the younger guys says, “get outta line then” to which he replies “ bet they don’t make no line at them chinks downtown” Now. We. Got. A. Whole. Damn. Problem.
It’s now very apparently who Archie Bunker is talking about. Downtown Newport News, black people & Chinese restaurants with good Yok A Mein go back like 2 flats on a Cadillac so he’s Butt hurt that two blacks people are in front of him. There’s always a line. He’s full of shit.
So now you’re offending people because you didn’t get to the door first? Using racial slurs and insulting people. Over a hamburger...how entitled and insensitive must you be?! Can’t even enjoy a damn burger without a racist trying to steal your joy...
But to top the cake, on my way back up the road, another flag covered truck is traveling northbound on Route 10 just past the intersection of 10 & 40. And he’s creeping, speed limit is 45, he’s barely going 30 and I’m thinking maybe he’s gonna pull off? Or he’s having car issues.
Nope, turns out he doesn’t like that I intend to drive the speed limit so he slows to a stop & real slow w/no signal turns into a newly opened Dollar General. And he’s so smitten shaking his finger at me in the side view mirror he runs right in a car waiting in the driveway.
So I think I’ve had enough of entitled ass white men today. I’m gonna go home and nurse this burger heartburn and take a rest from the bullshit. Until tomorrow of course.
