A quick FTA with China and the US is possible. It implies doing what they want. US policy is explicitly called America first. So the real question is: is this good for the UK?
Will those agreements compensate for losses of trade with the EU? Every serious economic study seems to indicate no.
And another little detail: in the new North American FTA the US introduced a clause giving parties the right to terminate the agreement should one of them sign an FTA with a non-market economy, ie China
This very likely means that under this US administration the U.K. will have to choose: either the US - or China.
