The three Russian journalists murdered in the Central African Republic while investigating mercenaries with Wagner [the private military firm owned by 'Putin's chef' Yevgeny Prigozhin] were tracked and ambushed by a police officer linked to Wagner.

In an effort to disguise his communications, another Russian involved registered his mobile phone under a fake American name, using a forged passport. In reality he worked for Wagner, Prigozhin's private military firm. @CNN has seen his Wagner ID.
