A thread on jan 26: my mentions are being flooded by people saying “it was a long time ago”, “it was not an invasion” and “you are better off”. These people are some of the same people who complain of a “Muslim invasion” or “Chinese buying Australia”.
If we were not invaded you are certainly not being invaded. If you bought the land fair-and-square so are foreign nationals who are buying land. If we are better off you will be if the technologically superior economic powerhouse called China takes over.
Bear in mind, I don’t believe there is a Muslim invasion and I believe if foreign nationals like the British Vestey company can own land here so can the Chinese.
The reason the right are telling us to “just celebrate” Australia while claiming they are being “taken over” is simply that they are racist. Otherwise they would have sympathy for our hatred of “Australia Day”.
You cannot have it both ways, you cannot complain that we are upset about being invaded while complaining you are being invaded. If you settled here without violenc that is what ALL recent immigrants are doing.
The only explanation for your behaviour is racism and, arguably, white nationalism. Otherwise when expecting us to welcome them, the Anglo-Australians they would also welcome any “invader” who, like they say they did, arrives without biolenc.

One more thing.. British citizens and companies own more land in Australia than Chinese citizens and companies. People aren't complaining about the British...why?
