I'm one of the few people in media --@MarkRLevinshow is another-- who routinely handled FISA applications. My desk was the last stop for such a warrant application to AGs Smith and Meese. W/that experience in mind, you can assess my conclusion on this story (1)
It is indeed a blockbuster. It is stunning. It means that DOJ and FBI conspired to commit a fraud upon the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. Ask yourself: If you were a FISC Judge, would you have wanted spelled out what Bruce Ohr spelled out to everyone? Of course! (2)
If @realDonaldTrump isn't tweeting about this article soon --thehill.com/opinion/white-… it just means he hasn't seen the @RudyGiuliani-@ChrisCuomo exchange yet. (3)

It is hard to understand his delay. The political operation around @POTUS must know that judicial appointees, especially the circuit court nominees, are the highest priority right behind national security so the delay in resubmitting at least most of the nominees is troubling.
It suggests that @realDonaldTrump still doesn’t have a smooth running WH Counsel Office behind him. Every week lost can’t be recovered. Two years down the road there will be nominees who don’t get on to the bench because of lassitude now. @senatemajldr can Chang the rules but
it is up to @realDonaldTrump to demand not 6 nominees but 60 next week, and the week after that and the balance the week after that. @LindseyGrahamSC will get the hearings rolling, but the circuit court nominees ASAP please.

1. 90% a coup is under way. Whitaker had same job my brother had. AG Chief of Staff. Not Senate confirmed. Cannot be AG. Whitaker was US attorney but not now. I think he his not qualified to act meaning FISA now shut down. @NSAGov @FBIWFO @neal_katyal can you chime in please?
2. Congress addressed this in 28 USC 508. Whitaker is not the lawful AG. Mueller should unseal all the indictments. Do it now while you can. @FBIWFO law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/28…

1/ Whenever I ask for evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, I get this circular-reasoning response:
How do you know that there was no collusion?
My answer: I'm NOT claiming there was no collusion, but I see #ZEROEvidence that Trump colluded. SHOW me your EVIDENCE!
2/ If I were to claim that you murdered someone, I would need to provide evidence of this. My claim does not make it have some sort of merit. If you insist you did not do this and want me to stop pushing such as accusation in public b/c it really did not happen, that makes sense.
3/ Would an innocent person remain silent in the face of a massive campaign by those who don't like that person making unsubstantiated claims? Would they not want to put an end to it? If I were #Trump, I would want this thing shut down too as it looks to be a witch hunt.
