Whose side is he on? Not ours, clearly. There has never been a greater threat to US security than this traitorous, incompetent, corrupt president. The Cold War risked catastrophe. But safeguards reduced those risks. Having a compromised, disloyal, erratic commander-in-chief...
in power every day doing things that weakened us, undermined our standing, undercut our alliances, damaged relations with our allies, empowered our adversaries, strengthened terrorists, destroyed the system on which our republic is built, that we have never seen before.
Every day compounds the damage of the days and months and now years before. He must be seen for what he is. His enablers--including the VP and the Senate Majority Leader and their toadies--must be seen as the enemies of the United States that they are.
They must be removed from power as soon as possible and they must be punished. But the first step is to understand the stakes, understand what is happening. Putin helped enable--as did the useful idiocracy on the right--the introduction of a deadly virus into our system.
Its potential destructive powers are immense. We have only seen the first symptoms of this disease. But let's not be deluded by the fact that the words we use to describe all this sound similar to those of political battles of the past. This is not about politics.
This is about a grave danger to our national security. It is about conspiracy with foreign enemies. It is about attacking the domestic and international systems that have enabled us to lead and remain safe. Trump is the disease. We and our representatives are the cure.
