Who were the "senior Trump campaign officials" with whom Stone communicated in June/July 2016, one of whom "was directed to contact Stone" about Wikileaks info on Clinton? 1/ 
Steve Bannon appears to be the one who communicated with Stone in October 2016, due to quotes that match previous reporting. 2/

The "was directed" line is, of course, fascinating. The most logical person to "direct" a senior campaign official is the candidate himself -- or maybe his family. 6/
One note of caution -- it's possible that Mueller doesn't know precisely who "directed" the senior campaign official. Manafort might have texted Stone to the effect of "Top brass wants me to find out what you know about Wikileaks," and then refused to explain to Mueller. 7/
Mueller obviously wants Stone to flip. Stone has said he won't, and might be banking on a commutation or pardon from Trump. But relying on Trump to repay loyalty may be a fool's bet, and Stone has a flair for drama. We shall see. 8/end
