I got a nasty email from a Bernie fan calling me a "centrist" (among other things) today. But I'm no centrist.
I support universal single-payer health care, cutting the DOD budget in half (or more), NO restrictions on a woman's right to choose, compassionate and welcoming immigration laws, and taxing the super-rich in a way we haven't done since the 1970s.
Because they'll still be super-rich, and they should stop whining.
That's not "centrist," it's the future.
Where I really seem to differ with the Bernie crowd is that I don't expect these things to come into existence overnight.

I almost wish @DonaldJTrumpJr hadn't blocked me for revealing his connections to white supremacists.
@DonaldJTrumpJr Throughout the 2016 campaign, he cultivated connections with the white supremacist far right. He did it openly. And very few media outlets paid attention. VERY few. Like, almost none.
@DonaldJTrumpJr He appeared on white supremacist radio shows, followed the worst racists on Twitter (and he blocked me when I exposed that), and helped some of them get press credentials to high prestige Republican events like the national convention.

1) Both the left wing and the right wing have individuals with racist beliefs. That comes as no surprise. 2/7
2) However, the reaction of the right when one of theirs is uncovered as a racist is VASTLY different from the left. 3/7

Here's a great example of Democrats' allies in the media giving them cover on health care.
Politico's @adamcancryn 2 days ago: "The GOP is hammering Democratic challengers in swing districts over a [Medicare for all] plan putting the gov't in full control of the health care system…. There’s just 1 problem: Few of the targeted Democrats actually support such a plan."
Politico: "In battleground districts … Democrats have gone out of their way to distance themselves from Sen. Bernie Sanders' $32 trillion single-payer proposal, only to be attacked for endorsing the plan anyway in Republican ads that range from misleading to outright false."

Now that the Midterms are approaching, I see the Bernie fanatics out in full force.
What's wrong with the Bernie Sect is they have NO nuance, and do not seem to understand the realities of politics.
It’s been easy for Bernie in a tiny state of less than half a million white people, as long as he supported guns, he would win re-election over and over, without having to work very hard.
It's how he could keep his purity mostly intact.
He's not known to work well with others.
My issue with the Bernie crowd is the LIES they tell.

They spent the entire primary lying so badly about Hillary, so they could drive her poll numbers down and Bernie's up.
