I just think @HowardSchultz is too emotional to lead. I have no problem with a man running for president, I just happen to not want this man to run. Is he likable enough to be elected? Not so sure. He needs to calm down and smile more.
I think it's interesting what @HowardSchultz has done with this coffee company of his--I forget the name--but we need someone in office who can relate to people. Howard is kinda uptight and shrill. I want to have a beer with my president, not a cappuccino.
I mean, all @HowardSchultz has ever done is sell beverages. Why are we turning the presidential election into a social experiment? I swear that I don't care that he's a man. I hire men all the time. I have binders full of men.

How convenient that the only freshmen representatives in Congress that are being admonished to "listen and learn" all happen to be women. What an extraordinary coincidence.
I just counted at least 25 men who are freshmen in Congress and have no previous experience in elected office, and weirdly, none of them--as far as I can tell--have been told they need to "listen and learn".
There may be more. I admittedly blacked out from rage after the 25th man I counted.

The progressive movement has managed to score numerous big wins with one arm tied behind our back. I can't imagine the kind of success we could have in dismantling capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy, etc. if only we could all put our petty bullshit aside and work together.
It's like everyone needs resolution to their individual grudges they've held for whatever reason, and not only do we all refuse to yield until those grudges are ameliorated but we're not really sure what it would take to ameliorate them. Just angry and swinging into the darkness.
Meanwhile, the conservative movement is all: "Oh, we have the same opponents? Cool, I hate you, but they don't need to know that come election time. Whatever it takes to win."

In all his interviews, he seems fixated upon "extremists within both parties". His example for extremism within the Democrats? Support for a return to higher marginal tax rates, and expanded or even universal health care like you find in every other advanced democracy on earth.
