I old enough to remember when Pro-abortion Dems used to say “Safe, legal and rare” about abortions.

Now they light up skyscrapers to celebrate abortions and want infanticide.

I remember reading about those who supported infanticide. 🤔

If you start medication for ADHD, depending on which medication it is, if it works for you, you’ll probably notice a difference day 1. Or at least, the people around you will notice.
On stimulants (I’m on vyvanse), I found the first 2-3 weeks was an adjustment period. The first couple of days were amazing, then I peaked and felt a bit jittery, and then dipped a bit and plateau’ed. It’s totally normal to have to adjust dosage after a few months or a year.
You’re basically fine-tuning, probably playing in 10 mg ranges. The medication isn’t less effective, you’re noticing more or persistent symptoms and patterns that you couldn’t pick up before.

People tell me I should write a memoir and I always say NO. If you wonder why, it may have something to do with the fact that I took several minutes considering whether I should post a pic of my orchid plant to my Insta because it might inadvertently divulge personal information.
I can foresee this kind of conversation with an editor.

Editor: We need some chapters on your family.
Me: Oh no, I couldn't possibly.
Editor: Your time at the CIA.
Me: I'm sorry, that's classified.
Me: I've narrowed down a list of topics I'm comfortable writing about from my personal life--my indoor orchid plant, my recent effort to learn how to paint, and my dog.

RAPE HAPPENS. FALSE RAPE ACCUSATIONS HAPPEN. One does not negate the other & should not be use to invalidate the experiences of those who have been raped & those falsely accused of rape, just as FEAR of rape & FEAR of accusations of rape should not be used to vilify each other.
Seriously. FEAR is valid, no matter how irrational it is. But FEAR is not justification for discrimination, hate, rape, or any other form of violence. This is America & we already know how FEAR has been weaponized to divide us politically, socially, economically, racially, etc
How long are we gonna keep that cycle going before we get tired of running in circles and having the same discussions over and over again?
