Shocker!

This is after a week where Dems have adopted the most extreme positions imaginable, including embracing nationalizing whole industries, banning private health insurance, and infanticide.

There are no principles in play here. Just cultists.
They are no different than the pro-Trump MAGA cultists. They are willing to abandon every position and belief. Again, this isn’t about opposing bad Republicans or supporting respectable alternatives, it’s about opposing people based solely on the letter next to their name.
Anyways, how many elections in a row do you get to support strictly Dems before you stop pretending to be the principled righty?

Also, same people argued we needed divided gov’t in 2018, but now just voting straight party Dem in 2020.
This isn't even about Trump. He's on the ballot in 2020. You can vote against him without voting for every other Dem running.

Don't think it hasn't been noticeable that these same people are mostly silent while Dems are openly advocating for 3rd trimester abortions....
What kind or principle requires you to oppose all Republicans while supporting Dems who you allegedly disagreed with on every issue a few years ago?

They are far-left cultists, not principled conservatives. And it's about time people identified them as such.
& this outrages some of us because it makes it seem like everyone who was a principled conservative critic of Trump is a fraud.

They behave like MAGA parodies of principled conservatives. In reality, you can oppose Trump w/o abandoning all your conservative beliefs.
I want to make one more point: These people represent a total of like 30 people on Twitter (on the right). They just get a lot of attention because those on the left, especially in the media, love being able to use them to validate their attacks against the right.
It’s hilarious that they don’t see that “I have to suspend all my principles and positions because current situation presents a unique threat” is exact excuse many on the right use to justify abandoning standards to support Trump (only w the left being the threat). Mirror cults.

What libelous trash written by an obvious scumbag w issues. Author simply suggests Trump support = white nationalism, then smears Covington HS kids (who aren’t even from Boston?) as such.

Hope they sue the crap out of @NoahShachtman and the publication for running this garbage.
Half the article is literally the author smearing a bunch of HS kids that have nothing to do with the Patriots team or fan base.

The other half is smearing the coach, owner, QB, and fans.

You can’t print stuff like that and then not expect people to view you as the enemy.
I mean look at this trash. He randomly goes off on a libelous rant about Covington, which has literally 0 to do with the Patriots.

And only other evidence he cites is @stoolpresidente being a Boston fan.

NYT’s Michelle Goldberg wrote a ridiculous column insisting that we shouldn’t ban late-term abortions for frivolous reasons bc no one would seek one for those reasons and it’s offensive to suggest otherwise. 1) Then why would a ban matter? 2) She’s wrong. nationalreview.com/corner/truth-a…
As @DavidAFrench points out, even studies by pro-choice groups have found most late-term abortions, while rare, are often done for reasons other than non-viability or to protect the life of the mother.
This intentionally dishonest spin that requires someone to ignore all logic and evidence can’t hide the fact that they want to eliminate all legal protections for viable fetuses up until birth (& sometimes beyond).

Putting aside the fact that the starvation has little to do with the sanctions:

Worth repeating that Omar is an advocate of sanctions/full boycott against Jews in Israel allegedly for the actions of the gov’t, but views such tactics as wrong when aimed at Maduro regime.
P.s “sanctions are causing starvation” is pure propaganda from the pro-Maduro crowd.

Socialism (as it tends to do) led to the starvation, which is why so many advocates of similar policies are quick to repeat nonsense blaming targeted sanctions for collapse of entire economy.
Anyways, so weird that Rep Omar (D) keeps creating different standards for and spreading falsehoods about one particular small country (Israel).

Can’t imagine why that is....

1. Cory Booker’s got some great-sounding vision statements out for his 2020 presidential run, but his opponents will soon challenge him to put up solid math behind his proposals. Booker will likely face renewed criticism for voting against measure to import drugs from Canada.
2. When voting against the legislation that would’ve allowed importation of presecription medications from Canada, Booker argued that the amendment didn’t meet the safety test, in response to which Tim Pawlenty (a Republican Governor) retorted, “Show me the dead Canadians”.
3. Booker also wants to ban private health insurance, a position that opponents could twist to suggest that he is in the pocket of pharma industry (which could influence such legislation). Booker has received more pharmaceutical industry cash than any other Democratic senator.

It's time to stop and think.
Talk of abolishing private health insurance is a sure way to lose elections.
An optional single payer plan with sliding scale premiums available to every American is a sure way to win.

If the single payer plan is cheaper, people will choose it. "Cutting out the middle man" is smart, but politicians will LOSE if they talk about abolishing private health insurance plans that some voters like.
Funding high quality public schools and universities does not require abolishing private schools and universities. Same for health insurance. Let people choose. But the single payer public option should be available to every American citizen and at an affordable cost.

Maybe stop twisting his words? Schultz said banning access to private health insurance, allowing government-run insurance to solely decide which treatments you are allowed or rationing access to therapies isn’t the “American” way, with which many patients will agree.
The US system isn’t perfect but it results in far fewer cancer deaths vs Europe. A government-only approach that bans private insurance is a recipe for disaster - what if Congressional gridlock shuts down that system, or forces people to work without pay?
Congress hasn’t managed to pass all its spending bills on time since 1997. It took them >5 years to stabilize Obamacare which covers 12 million (vs 160 million on private insurance). What makes people so certain Congress can smoothly roll out and fully fund “Medicare for All”?

Not a single Democrat has proposed socialized medicine (i.e. doctors are employees of the government and hospitals owned by the government) for universal health care, so not a single Democrat has proposed "government-run health care." This is basic stuff, @voxdotcom.
A "rallying cry on the left"? 52% of Republicans and 70% of Americans want #MedicareForAll. But, I guess "centrists demand Medicare-for-all" doesn't really fit your narrative.

No, @realDonaldTrump, #MedicareForAll doesn't end Medicare for seniors or "take away benefits"! Rather, it *expands* Medicare to everyone -- increasing young and healthy in the insurance pool -- which allows for huge *improvement* and *expansion* of benefits. A better Medicare!
No, you haven't, @realDonaldTrump. Your administration is suing to end pre-existing condition protections. You have also allowed short-term junk "insurance" plans -- with no ACA protections -- to be sold again. These discriminate against the sick, women, and anyone who needs care
