1. No Russia Collusion thehill.com/opinion/judici…
2. Wrote this thread almost 2 years ago, just 6 weeks after Trump's inauguration. Everything that has come to light since then has only vindicated my theory. If one looks at facts clinically and objectively, truth reveals itself easily, most of the time.
3. The thing to keep in mind about my above thread is that I wrote it when I was still skeptical about Trump presidency. Many "Trump supporters" were of course declaring him innocent, but I have never been a "Trump supporter" in the way that term is (perhaps incorrectly) used.
4. If "Trump supporter" means "supporting Trump no matter what he does," I have never been a Trump supporter. I also bet very few people fall into that category, even though their numbers may be relatively pronounced on Twitter.
5. I think most Trump supporters are like me. They like what Trump has done for the country and wish him every success for the sake of our country and our posterity. They also derive particular satisfaction from the way he skewers the liberal media which richly deserve skewering.
6. But they will not support Trump blindly if he does something egregiously wrong. I know I won't. I will defend Trump all day long against unfair and vile attacks from his opponents and the media, but only so long as he doesn't do anything unconstitutional.
7. Knowing Trump as well as I have come to know him, through his deeds more than his words, I have every confidence that he is highly unlikely to do anything unconstitutional, his verbal bluster notwithstanding, but I will never take that for granted no matter who the president.
8. U.S. President is by far the most powerful position in the entire world. No human can be blindly trusted in that position. That is why our Constitution intricately weaves in "checks and balances" throughout our constitutional framework of governance. We are blessed!

The End.
