How many times must DNC Media repeat this? The rule is, "Believe All Women Unless They Accuse Democrats."
This isn't just lazy political bias, by the way. The Left is making a serious effort to reframe free speech, the presumption of innocence, and other rights as special privileges held exclusively by those with the right Party card in their pockets.
The Left wants to teach the public to share its prejudices, make them reflexively see every story as "Democrats Say" vs. "Republicans Claim." Every accusation against Repubs is true even AFTER proven false because it reveals Deeper Truth.
Allegations that hurt Dems, on the other hand, are reported with "Republicans pounce" framing if they are reported at all. The insinuation of Repubs Pounce framing is that the story is illegitimate somehow, the accusations made in bad faith for purely political reasons.
"Republicans Pounce" framing basically accuses GOP politicians of stealing a power that rightfully belongs to the DNC Media clergy: the power to decide if a story is important and has deeper meaning.
That's where all this jazz about "credible charges" comes in. Charges against Repubs are considered inherently credible because they agree with the Deeper Truth that Repubs are racist, sexist, etc.
The Left wants to program American voters to think that accusing Repubs of race or sex crimes is like accusing a wolf of eating meat: it's what they DO. Even if this PARTICULAR wolf turns out to be not guilty, no one can be blamed for reflexively suspecting it!
Much of this "inherently guilty" attitude spreads beyond Republicans to men, white people, and especially white men - but there is a way to obtain relief! You just need to confess your racial and gender sins and then obtain a Democrat Party card.
THEN you get the presumption of innocence back, because with a Democrat Party card in your wallet, you get the presumption of good motives. You CARE and you want the best for everyone. Your bad behavior becomes contrary to the character revealed through your politics.
And if the charges against you stick, why, that just proves you weren't really a good Democrat. DNC Media might even start accidentally identifying you as a Republican! /end
