Back in 2000, Disney presented the Super Bowl #HalftimeShow.

Next year, I think it's time they do it again. But more epic than ever.

The 2020 #SuperBowl will be in Miami, so it's literally the perfect spot for Disney Parks to roll in and do their magic.

Here's how: THREAD

Inspired by Fantasmic, the 2020 Super Bowl will have the greatest Half Time show ever seen, with something for everyone!

It will feature iconic music, characters and effects from every corner of Disney's fully stacked IP locker.

Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and even the Parks.

Projection map every corner of the stadium interior, so that the entire field, audience, etc, all becomes a huge screen to be utilized during different parts of the show. And line the entire open roof with lasers, fireworks and pyrotechnics.

Here's how the show starts:

Stage in the middle of the field, Fantasmic's slow music starts to roll in as the field is covered by magic, twinkles, glows and rays of colors shoot through the stadium, swirling until they reach center as a blast of fireworks reveals Mickey Mouse!

Mickey giggles and begins to conduct the magic projections, sending them dancing up and around the stadium to display iconic clips of Disney's most classic films. We see and hear all our favorite heroes. But then...

The Imperial March begins. Mickey ducks for cover as Darth Maul, Darth Vader and Kylo Ren enter the field, followed by battalions of Storm Troopers.

The three conspire to use the Dark Side to take influence the crowd, and as they prepare to use the force on the audience...

We hear Mickey shout "NO! These are my friends, and this is my imagination! Time to call in some support."

The field darkens as the Avengers theme begins playing, our attention shifts to the projection mapping around the stadium as small clips of all our favorite heroes play.

As the witty catch phrase Hero montage ends, we hear

"I AM GROOOOT!"

And bam, on an end zone stage in a single spot is Groot (costumed character) and Rocket (Planted Animatronic).

Groot is holding a device & after arguing with Rocket ("DONT YOU PUSH IT!") he pushes a button...

Instantly Mr. Blue Sky starts playing, & Groot starts dancing, when Rocket realizes...

"Wait a minute, this thing isn't even on... hold on..." He then clicks another button and the stage illuminates to reveal ELO playing live.

Enter some random Marvel star to help sing live.

Suddenly the stadium goes dark as we hear the evil laugh of Thanos. His large face is projected around the stadium.

In a menacing voice he threatens to dominate the game and snap half the crowd to bring balance.

We see the stadium begin to glow with the six stone colors when...

Mickey's voice fills the stadium:

"You may use your hands to destroy the world..."

Bright single spot on Mickey center field, on a high elevated platform.

"...but I use mine to inspire the world!"

BAM! Magic fireworks shoot out his hands in a massive magnificent display!

Thanos shouts in agony as the infinity stone colors around the stadium begin to swirl together, exploding into tiny flashes of magic, dancing and filling the entire crowd with warm colorful light.

(This is timed with the Fantasmic music finale when Steam Boat Willie appears).

And with the villains defeated, the music swells, and rushing the field comes EVERY SINGLE DISNEY CHARACTER YOU CAN THINK OF. ALL OF THEM.

Costumes, puppets, live face, etc...

They cary banners, ribbons, and props in a massive celebration of all things good.

While the characters rush the field, and party, the music reaches that epic moment when....

BOOM!

SORCERER MICKEY IS NOW ON TOP OF THE STADIUM.

Commanding an army of fireworks and pyrotechnics that surround the stadium dome. It's epic. Huge. Fantastic!

As we reach the climax of the finale, everything explodes in a blinding light around the stadium, and POP...

Mickey is magically transported from the roof back down to center field, dressed in Football gear...

He giggles...

"Ha hah... Some game right?"

BOOM.

END.
