We are now approaching 5p, with no word from #SCOTUS on the fate of the request to halt Louisiana's abortion-provider admitting-privileges law from going into effect. The administrative stay entered by Justice Alito while the justices considered the request ends at midnight.

A decision GRANTING the stay (or a further temporary administrative stay) would keep the law on hold.
A decision DENYING the stay (or no further action from the court) would mean the law can go into effect.

Meanwhile, we’re now past 8:30p, with no update from #SCOTUS on the Louisiana abortion-provide admitting-privileges stat application. (See thread above.)
This could, in part, explain the delay in hearing about the Louisiana case. The Supreme Court had an execution case on the docket as well tonight.
