1. The subtext in Bezos' post yesterday was the potential involvement of Trump in both: 1. the publication of Bezos' texts to his mistress and, 2. the efforts by AMI/National Enquirer to shut Bezos up w/threats

2. AMI/National Enquirer has admitted in federal court that it acted as an arm of Trump's political operation -- buying negative stories about Trump to keep them from going public and attacking his enemies 
3. Trump celebrated the National Enquirer's publication of the Bezos texts, praising their reporting
4. The other entity that Bezos mentions more explicitly is Saudi Arabia. Bezos was investigating whether the Saudis were involved in obtaining the texts. The Saudis also hate Bezos/WashPost because its reporting and commentary on the Khashoggi murder
