One of the biggest issues that most people run into with Facebook Ads is how to significantly scale without resetting the ad set optimization.

Here is a quick guide on how to do just that ⬇️
Typically when I wanted to scale one of my ad sets I would do so conservatively.

Only increasing the budget by around 10% every few days.

Any more and I would trigger what Facebook calls a "Significant Edit" which causes the ad set to re-optimize, which is not good.
However, something I started to notice was that when I would increase the budget of a campaign using budget optimization no "Significant Edit" would occur.

The reason I know this is because there is a column that you can add to your ads manager called "Last Significant Edit"
I have been testing this and have yet to have one of my CBO campaigns have a "Significant Edit" after a budget increase.

Here is one example of a campaign that I recently increased the daily budget from $600-$1000.
Something important to keep in mind is that I am only doing this with campaigns that are ready to scale.

This means the campaign has shown profitable performance consistently over 2-3 days

After that occurs I then increase the budget anywhere from 30-60% and then wait 2-3 days
Even though I am increasing the budget by a large percentage amount I still want to take a conservative approach.

By waiting 2-3 days after each large budget increase you are able to gauge the campaign's performance to determine whether it can scale further.
Just because I am able to increase the budget by a large amount without setting off a "Significant Edit" does not mean that the campaign will continue to be profitable 100% of the time.

There are so many other factors that also affect the performance of the overall campaign.
Make sure you keep this in mind when you are considering scaling your campaign.
