Thing about this isn’t that it’s bigoted, it’s that it’s *wrong*—stunningly, absurdly wrong. Small thread:
(1) there are no “Israeli lobbyists” aside from Israeli government officials (just like meetings with every other country). They don’t give money to politicians.

(2) Yes, there are Americans who support Israel and urge politicians to do so as well. Some of these people are Jews, some of them are not. Some people hate Israel, and do the same. It’s their right as Americans to participate in the political process.
(3) GOP Members who support Israel—the vast majority—do so for reasons that have NOTHING to do with money.
(4) People talk about AIPAC influence, but it is negligible. Laughable. GOP is far more committed to Israel than near-useless AIPAC is. GOP Members just know better now.

(5) Is it anti Semitic? Well, it’s complicated: certainly, if you know anything about the issue, you’d see that accusations of “all about the Benjamins” is total bullshit.
