Paul Manafort is due back in court this afternoon for another sealed hearing on the claim by Mueller's office that he lied. Here's the lightly redacted brief his lawyers filed after last week's' sealed hearing on the issue: assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5736…

Hello from the federal courthouse in DC, where Paul Manafort has another sealed hearing at 1:30pm re: prosecutors' claims that he lied. The lawyers are in the courtroom, but the little windows on the doors are blacked out so we can't see inside. Manafort will be there
The latest sealed hearing in Paul Manafort's case is over, the lawyers all just left the courtroom. They're not saying what happened -- now we wait for an order from the judge, or the transcript, or both

Mueller's sentencing memo in Paul Manafort's DC case was due today -- it's not quite midnight, but as I need to sleep, here's what may be going on assuming it doesn't show up in the next 45 min: 1. They've filed under seal, and once a redacted version is okay'd we'll get it soon
2. They missed the deadline. Option 1 is what's happened in the past during the plea deal breach briefing (and sometimes the lawyers wouldn't publicly confirm they'd filed at all), and is much more likely than option 2.
Which is all to say -- night owl @chrisgeidner will be up in case something happens, so follow him, but also get some sleep, enjoy your life!

Shortly after a judge entered a gag order on Roger Stone, the account @MrRogerStone posted this tweet, which was soon deleted, but screenshots circulated widely (I've verified the original tweet is real). Stone says he does not run that account and doesn't comm with whoever it is
@MrRogerStone The Twitter account is now suspended. There's another account called @StoneColdRoger, which links to Stone's Facebook page, but Stone says he isn't running that account either, doesn't know who is, and doesn't have any communication with it
You may recall that Roger Stone was banned from Twitter in October 2017, and sources at the time told BuzzFeed News that the suspension was permanent buzzfeednews.com/article/salvad…

1. Note the date: the confidential files with evidence were leaked in October 2018.
2. The Twitter account has been removed. It's old news. There is nothing discrediting to Mueller's investigation in the fact that the Russians stole the files. If anything, it confirms that, yes, Russians hack.

#Manafort charging document for today's guilty plea includes details of his planting disinformation in US press to smear political rivals of his pro-Russia clients in Ukraine. Eg "Plant some stink on Tymo"—painting a female rival as a criminal who paid for murder. Sound familiar?
Manafort had used the same propaganda smear tactics in Ukraine that Trump rolled out in his campaign for president in 2016. Manafort not only had Tymo soliciting murder. He pushed tribal divisions, using "Obama Jews" & anti-Semitism to tarnish her. assets.documentcloud.org/documents/4883…
