Whatever this means, it should at least allow the distinctions the Apostles themselves make. Unless they denied the faith? 1/ 
2/ When an ethnic dispute arose in the Church, distinctions are present: “Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint by the Hellenists arose against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution.” (Acts 6:1)
3/ When the dispute among the Apostles and elders led to a cicular letter, it is addressed to Gentile Christians alone:but “The brothers, both the apostles and the elders, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greetings. (Acts 15:22-23)
4/ Paul often notes his own ethnicity as he lives as an example of unity: “…of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews” (Phil. 3:5); “I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.” (Rom. 9:3)
5/ He also address Jew and Gentile Christians as identifiable groups: “[R]emember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh…” (Eph. 2:11); “Now I am speaking to you Gentiles…” (Rom. 11:13)
6/ When Paul corrects Peter: "But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, 'If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?'” (Gal. 2:11-14)
7/ And John viewing the saints before the throne: “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation (ethnous), from all tribes (phylōn) and peoples (laōn) and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in ...
8/ ...white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Rev. 7:9-10)
