2/ Amazon should locate 10,000 to 15,000 employees in Port Covington, Baltimore.

3/ Port Covington is 42.5 miles from #HQ2 in Crystal City, VA.

4/ Port Covington is 4.8 miles from the massive, modern Amazon Fulfillment Center at Point Breeze, Baltimore.

5/ @port_covington is 9.9 miles from BWI airport, a Southwest hub, which will get you anywhere in the country at a very reasonable price. International flights aplenty, also.

6/ Here is a corporate shuttle bus route Amazon can run connecting Crystal City #HQ2, BWI, @port_covington and the Point Breeze Distribution Center. The whole route is only 50.4 miles. Mornings and afternoons are tough, for sure. But 10am-3pm this whole route takes under 75 min.

7/ Amazon's @port_covington mini-HQ should concentrate logistics managers (close to Point Breeze dist.cent.), design (hire from MICA), accounting, back-office, inside sales, technical support, customer success, etc.

8/ Amazon's @port_covington center should concentrate their skilled, but entry-level and medium-salary workforce. Baltimore likely offers the most affordable, diverse, urban workplace on the east coast, perhaps in the whole U.S.

9/ Baltimore median rent is $1,325 and median house price is $125k. Amazon can attract young workers into their @port_covington mini-HQ, and these people will be able to envision owning a home with character and a high WalkScore while in their 20's.

10/ Finally, here is a live shot indicating how convenient Amazon's @port_covington mini-HQ (middle distance on the right edge) will be to their Point Breeze dist.cent. (middle distance behind the Exelon building).

Also, there are plenty of slips available for the exec's yachts.
