How many national outlets (who reported on original attack) covered that Smollett was only off camera for ~60 seconds, that he was still holding Subway, lack of video, refusal to turn over phone records etc.?

It was a few local reporters that kept bringing out these details, and they were viciously attacked by activists like Deray for it. While the national media continued to ignore them and even use official CPD statements to push back on red flags, until they couldn't anymore.
Sorry, but the media doesn't get to pat themselves on the back after falling for yet another fake story.
