This article I wrote is the result of an investigation I ran on Renee Bach, a Bedford, VA native who has practiced medicine w/o a license & only a high school degree, on Ugandan children for yrs. The nonprofit @nowhitesaviors is trying to make Renee answer legally for her crimes.

Renee is due in court on March 12 in Mayuge District, to answer to charges brought by two Ugandan mothers who allege that her incompetent medical treatment (practicing w/o a license) led to the deaths of their children. She has not said if she'll return to Uganda for the hearing.

UPDATE: I am assisting an investigative journalist with @BBCWorld for what will hopefully be a forthcoming article on #ReneeBach. This will likely take time to be produced due to continuing changes in her case [Renee is due in Ugandan court on March 12]. More updates to come.

In the Jinja, Uganda area, #ReneeBach was known for years as the "White Doctor," a moniker she wrote abt on her blog w/pride. She sometimes wore a stethoscope & white coat, although she is not a licensed medical professional. She performed numerous medical procedures on children.

How did we get here? A huge thank you to everyone around the world who has been sharing this story with friends & passing it on to journalists. You are shining a light on a truly dark situation. This is how we get results & accountability for #ReneeBach. #nowhitesaviors 💜

I want to offer updates on #ReneeBach as my page is blowing up thanks to the link from
@sugabelly. Renee had her day in court in Mayuge District, Uganda on March 12th. She didn't appear but had her legal team snow @WomenProbono w/paperwork & got a delay until early 2020.😳

Because of Renee's fraudulent medical practices, children are living with disability, disfigurement & pain. Some parents can only visit their precious babies at tiny mounds of earth.
