Has Dept of Justice addressed the Coast Guard Lieutenant who was plotting to assassinate top Dem leadership, Dem Pres candidates, and media critics of Trump? I know Trump won’t address this but I would expect DOJ to hold a news conference. Any Republicans comment? Not normal
I don’t understand why the public had to find out about this very serious threat from court documents. The threat was buried in court documents! Isn’t it normal for DOJ to have a press conference and discuss the arrest and the plot?
As a country we have a lot to worry about if the top law enforcement agency picks and chooses what cases they want to discuss. I would think a plot wiping out top leadership would be one of them
