Man, those DREAMers were so rude when they sat in on that senator’s office. Man, those kids were so rude when they confronted that senator.

Come on, people. What are we doing here?
People who push their elected officials to be better on the issues we care about are good. They’re participating in democracy. They’re spilling their guts and telling us what keeps them up at night. It’s not divisive. It’s what we need.
Miss me with “they’re just out to divide us Dems.” It’s healthy. They’re out to push us to do better, to be more aggressive on the issues we care about. That’s good. It’s not always comfortable but it’s what we need.
Nope. DREAMers sat in on Democrats’ offices too - a lot. And it was healthy, and We’re better off for it. But I guess we’re forgetting that now.
Who is getting ratfucked: the people who see kids confronting a senator demanding stronger leadership and think it’s healthy, or those who see kids confronting their senator and think it’s a conspiracy?
One hundred percent, the actions that people are on here decrying as “ratfucking” by Sunrise are exactly what the DREAMers deployed against Democrats. And 👏 they 👏 were 👏 right. It’s good.
Wait until you get a load of the money that to be made in protecting the establishment!!
Guys, people keep saying “dishonestly edited.” I watched both! What was dishonest? Sure, the edited version was shorter. But the shorter version accurately captured the encounter.
In my job I watched as the activist left effectively pushed Democrats to be better on issues that we cared about. Sure it was frustrating sometimes. But it was right. That was one of my biggest takeaways. It’s not all bots, ppl. This is part of who we are.
This is rather extreme. Every interview is edited. You’re not poring over transcripts over coffee in the morning! The question is whether it accurately captures the encounter. I watched the unedited and the edited, and think it does.
Sorry to be rude but goodnight for now! Happy to pick up in the morning. Love you all 😘
