CNN’s spin also raises the question: how on Earth is it better to have someone whose role has to be so dramatically curtailed serving as political editor instead of a credible, trusted journalist? It just doesn’t make sense. thedailybeast.com/cnn-assures-de…
Flores’ role is massively curtailed and can’t do any of the things you’d expect the role to do. Her presence will chronically undercut CNN’s trust with the public and many of its reporters’ sources. And the market is flush with talent for the job. But other than that, great hire!
