So, based on Cohen testimony, can Americans agree:

1) Parts of Steele Dossier (like Cohen in Prague) are probably false, but

Trump lied about "no deals with Russia" and knew that both Cohen and Trump Jr lied about Trump Tower Moscow negotiations to Congress.

2) Scandalous rumors about Trump [physically abusing Melania are probably false but,

Trump told Cohen to lie to Melania about hush fund payments to Stormy Daniels

3) Trump's taxes may not reveal that he's laundered money for Russian mobsters but

Cohen thinks Trump's not under audit and is hiding the fact that he's underpaid his taxes

4) Trump probably didn't pay off a door man to be silent about a love child (which probably doesn't exist)

but Trump knew about, and directed, hush fund payments to mistresses, took efforts to hide them, and failed to report his debt to repay Cohen for them.

5) Trump tried very hard to win his campaign, but

Trump thought he probably wouldn't win (like most pundits) so had strong financial incentive to please Russia and land the Trump Tower Moscow dea.

6) Trump doesn't appear to have directly contacted Russian agents to collude, but

Trump knew Don Jr, Roger Stone, and Paul Manafort were trying to assist Russian attacks on US elections and seeking to benefit from those attacks.

7) Michael Cohen has done dishonorable things. He's going to prison.

Donald Trump has done dishonorable things. He's in the White House.

This doesn't rule out other sources of evidence that might show Russian mob involvement in Trump properties, but it doesn't sound like Cohen knows about it or that it would show up in tax returns.

And equally importantly, Trump himself aided and abetted Russia's attack by publicly denying that it occurred despite knowing from his own operative AND THE FBI that it was happening. motherjones.com/politics/2019/…
