The Dilemma of the Nigerian Electorates: The Victim Blaming Tradition.

Since 2015, the Nigerian electorates have assumed a dangerous tradition that might keep them in perpetual oppression, if urgent and drastic action is not taken.

Action to change this. But we must know that every election, though the politicians are the major actors, on the long run determines the direction of life for every citizen, till the next election. Hence, reactions to any elections by the electorates, should be as it affects them
But this has not been the case. Since 2015, Nigerians have reacted to the outcome of every election, by focusing on how it affects the politicians and the political parties, more than how it affects their lives thereafter. This expresses serious dilemma.
The truth is, many Nigerians are so fixated on what happens to one politician or the other, and one political party or the other, and leaving out the realities such election holds for them, through the period before the next election.
This tradition or behavior has more than anything, empowered the politicians, especially the wicked and evil ones who currently control power, to thrive uncontrollably and unstoppably, in their evil unleashment against the Nigerian citizens.
Immediately after the 2015 elections, the PDP was blamed for the evil and wickedness of the APC, supported by huge number of Nigerians, that saw APC becoming the ruling party. This was even when everyone knew the electoral subversion APC, in connivance with some Nigerians did.
Ondo election came & APC went a bit higher in their evil, & it paid off with the party taking over Ondo. Yet the Nigerian citizens blamed PDP for the evil of APC. The few who tried to redirect people to the evil of APC and the need for collective efforts against it were ignored.
From Ondo, Ekiti happened. The APC federal government employed the federal institutions again Fayose and PDP. Many Nigerians ignore, and APC took over Ekiti. PDP and Foyese were again, blamed for APC's unacceptably glaring evil, by the Nigerian electorates.
After Ekiti, the worse of electoral fraud in Nigerian history happened. Again, perpetrated by the evil APC federal government. The Election PDP clearly won, was upturned by INEC, in the most mysterious manner in our political history. Yet, PDP was blamed for it by many.
The Nigerian electorates never saw the need to unite, in confronting this, even when we have to do a coordinated efforts. Everyone was satisfied with the blamed-PDP tradition. Meanwhile PDP is just a party, the real sufferers of bad governance are the electorates, the Nigerians.
Each time PDP gets blamed for APC's evil, it empowers them to do more. Now the presidential election just ended, with everyone knowing the unprecedented electoral evil committed by the @APCNigeria in connivance with @inecnigeria. But PDP as usual, is being blamed for APC's evil.
Nigerians voted massively for @OfficialPDPNig and @atiku, this we know; and some Nigerians voted for @APCNigeria and @MBuhari, this we also know. But @inecnigeria connived with @APCNigeria to alter the the results in favour of @APCNigeria, this we well know. So why blame PDP?
The anger of some intellectuals, sympathetic to the @OfficialPDPNig and Nigerians is that the PDP should have published results from every polling centres, as they got them. Would that have made @inecnigeria stick to the true results? No! INEC had a plan and that, they executed.
We all know that the @APCNigeria federal government planned with @inecnigeria, to subvert this election. So INEC/APC evil should be our focus, with regard to condemning it and letting all know how it affects us. We must collectively work to stop this.
@OfficialPDPNig is the primary victim of this electoral evil, but Nigerians are the long run victims and the sufferers of this evil. Blaming PDP on what it did or did not, only empowers the @APCNigeria to advance in its evil and do more against the Nigerian electorates.
We must stop blaming the victim, and confront the perpetrator(s), with the view to stopping this arrogant execution of evil against the Nigerian people. Nigerian electorates must break away from this dilemma and unprofitable tradition.
