Is Pierre Omidyar of the Intercept a covert Social Engineering, undemocratic regime change supporting elite - like George Soros?

According to the article researchers, Omidyar’s connections with the police surveillance state started before Facebook really got its feet wet - when Omidyar was running eBay (which he founded).

This is in part understandable because there are so many crooks and scammers around
According to the article, Omidyar supports McCarthyist, war loving neocon, Bill Krystol

Dem war mongers seem to be in bed with Krystol and his fellow neocons - so the apparent conflicting association of Omidyar with Clintonites as well as Krystol is not as odd as you might think

The condemnation of Big Brother browsers for not catching “hate” and demands for more censorship
1. Ignores the fact that computer systems are not infallible (and human moderators are subject to bias)
2. Ignores the fact that political correctness has been politically weaponised
Criticism or even verbal expressions of dislike are not a credible predictor of violent attacks, because they are common human reactions.

What I suspect is a predictor is narcissistic and/or supremacist (of any sort) calls for violence or attacks againt an individual or group.

Hosking is likely seen by quite a few as the voice of New Zealand’s far right

Has Hosking ever had much good to say about any politician or public figure who did not appear to be a blatantly right wing Nat?
But to be fair to Hosking, why has NZ given Turkey’s dictator and wanna be head of a new Ottoman Empire more fodder for his hateful PR?

IMO as a centrist thinker, it wasn’t a good enough excuse that NZ wanted to maintain Gallipoli access

Erdogan has threatened NZers and Ozzies
IMO all New Zealanders should have been advised to exit, esp anyone attached to the Diplomatic Corps, or to NZ or any other military (w military aircraft on standby to evacuate)

His overtly threatening behaviour & overt seeding of hate currently makes Turkey a v dangerous place

To adequately deal with gun ownership, it is necessary to deal with the marketing of guns; and also come up with strategies to deal with the one upmanship psychology of human nature.

IMO - no hunter “needs” to to go out hunting rabbits or even a wild pig with a semi-automatic
It’s a good thing to have positive leadership by example.

I can’t think of any good reason for anyone (other than certain members of the police (while on the job), or military (while on active duty in a war zone) to possibly “need” a semi-automatic or automatic weapon.
Historically, even police & members of military can go bonkers and kill people (or get burgled).

IMO - not even police or military should be able to store semi-automatic or automatic weapons at home; they should not be for sale in gun stores; and they should be audited yearly
