Just take a second to think about this...

The same people who told us we should leave the EU because it's unelected/undemocratic, are now the ones telling us the timetabling of the European Elections makes it too complicated to for us to stay.
Personally I think it's great that the People's Vote is likely to take place near to a massive display of European democracy. The European Parliament elections are literally the largest democratic exercises on the planet!
Sorry. Got carried away with that tweet. But my general point stands.

A) The EU Treaties prevent that from happening without the UK's consent.
B) The UK's European Union Act 2011 prevents that from happening without the UK's peoples consent by referendum.
Therefore, the Union only gets 'ever-closer' IF we want it to.
I want European economies to be integrated because it cuts red tape and lowers prices for consumers, BUT I don't want the euro because I don't think it's working.
I want defence cooperation for efficiency's sake, but I don't want one EU army.
etc...
If I wanted the UK to rapidly & fully integrate into every part of the EU Project at a faster rate than the people of the UK were OK with, I'd support hard Brexit and watch us have to rejoin the EU due to the economic emergency, but without any of our current exceptions.
I don't.

If all the other houses in your area teamed up to get better deals from the local shop, more investment from the council, & better security via neighbourhood watch...
Prices would go up for you, you'd get less investment and your house would be the soft security target.

Having the same laws & no tariffs between EU countries cuts red tape at the borders and lowers costs within the EU.
Any business interested in Europe-wide distribution will invest in countries in the largest European market.
Europol security data sharing protects EU countries.
In the neighbourhood analogy, you would obviously either join them or move to another neighbourhood.

Sadly with Brexit, tectonic technology hasn't advanced far enough for option two.

Schiff is telling any camera he can get in front of there are 'mountains' of evidence for Russia collusion & crimes by Trump.
People are being told we all need to be VERY VERY AFRAID of what Schiff is doing, his endless, never ending investigation of the President from the House.

Notice these are the same people who told you to be VERY VERY AFRAID of what Mueller was gonna deliver against Trump.

This is gonna be long, but I think it's worth it. A well-regarded twitter poster, let’s call him Giorgio, has recently publish a thread stating among other things as follows. “The pathways to stopping or delaying Brexit are blocked.
But once the mandate is discharged, the pathways to UK rejoining, or being in a close association agreement with EU, within the single market and customs union, will be open, with no obstacles.”
This approach annoys me for two reasons, one because Giorgio seems to be attempting to cajole Remainers to put all activity on hold until we actually leave the #EU.
