Which successful economy in the world trades with its closest neighbours on just WTO rules?
I'll wait...
🤣🤣🤣 Gold star for Jess!
OK are there any OTHERS?
Australia has Free Trade deals with New Zealand, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Burma, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, USA, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, South Korea and Japan.
So pretty much everyone within 7000 miles. dfat.gov.au/trade/agreemen…
NEXT!!!
PLEASE tell me the loudest voices championing #NoDealBrexit, aren't supporting something that every single successful economy in the world has chosen not to do.
Tell me they're not being THAT reckless with the welfare of the British people.
"Tim Martin"
Many replies saying: "But No Deal is just temporary".

A) They're admitting #NoDealBrexit harms the country.
B) The Canada-EU trade took 7 years and it doesn't give Canadian companies the same access to the European Market as EU companies.

That means a 7-year downturn MINIMUM!
OK, so we've dealt with whether it's acceptable to inflict the level of harm No Deal would bring to this country. And if you want a final nail in that coffin, just consider how reckless those who support it are being below⬇️
Now let's look at it from a democratic standpoint:
Last week Michael Gove, the head of the official Vote Leave campaign admitted on #Marr that No Deal was NEVER they were promising.
For anyone keeping score:
The 3 main figures of Vote Leave, said "I'd vote to stay in the Single Market" (Boris), We'd get a "free trade and friendly cooperation agreement" (Gove) and that "absolutely nobody is talking about threatening our place in the Single Market" (Hannan)
Can you imagine what it would do to our democracy if people knew they were going to be permanently poorer because politicians promised one thing, delivered something completely different, and then for 3 years refused to let the people democratically judge the new reality?
