4) News focused on the accusations of transphobia rather than the important story of why respected ambassadors of sport have spoken up. Both on-line content and on-air news bulletins.
5) I too have recently had my invitation to participate in a BBC discussion withdrawn. Refusal to appear with me is a common occurrence.
6) Vetoing the appearance of another guest is of course against BBC editorial guidance but subtly is it happening to many of us. This growing trend is a problem and our complaints appear to go under heard.

7) As society changes, new solutions are need. Women cannot be left out of the discussion. Finding new approaches to trans issues affects everyone not just trans people.
8) It's not unkind or impolite to talk about this. We can be respectful and fair to all; that means everyone gets to speak and everyone is heard.
9) We can't find resolution until we can name the problem. The BBC can lead the way by carefully and sensitivity facilitating this public debate. With accuracy and balance we can move this debate forward to the benefit of everyone.
