1) At Fair Play For Women our aim is to make sure womens' and girls' rights are respected & given due consideration in all policy that affects then. Our prison campaign has contributed to this important policy shift meaning that transwomen will now be housed separately from women 
2) The previous policy had simply not given women's safety a high enough priority. That was a mistake and now that is being corrected. It took the courage and perseverance of many women campaigning and the sexual assault of two women in prison to get this problem solved.
3) We can learn lessons here that can be applied across all policy areas. Women and girls must always be considered when trans-inclusion policies are being developed. This way the policies we get will be fair for all
4) It also proves how calm, respectful and evidence-based discussion is possible and effective in the transgender debate. Attempts to shut down discussion just makes good policy design more difficult.
5) We are looking forward to helping policy makers in other areas make good policy that's fair for all. Our sports campaign is well underway. Current rules allowing male-born trans to compete against women are unfair & unsafe. We can help guide rule makers thru to better policy.
