From the annals of things we used to know and completely forgot about. I just got tested for serum carnitine for the first time. I don’t know how this never happened before, but I was clearly deficient, am now taking levocarnitine and noticed immediate improvements.

Before we find “the biomarker” (how many diseases don’t have this and yet get on their merry way regardless) how about a consensus on what tests we should be running on everyone such that we can at least be symptomatically treating what is commonly and measurably wrong?
Our tests don’t “come back normal.” Doctors are just running the wrong tests! #mecfs

👋🏼 just wanted to share with you a new diagnosis. As suspected, I have craniocervical instability. My skull is compressing my brainstem causing my breathing + other problems. I’m having surgery later this month to stabilize my skull + neck. Learn more: medium.com/@jenbrea/a-new…
Craniocervical instability and atlantoaxial instability are a common complication of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, especially #hEDS. I don’t meet the criteria but it’s clear hypermobility is an important part of my clinical picture. #Nightingales
A handful of other #pwme have also been diagnosed with CCI/AAI in the past year including @jeff_says_that who, at one year post-surgery, considers himself in remission from both #POTS and PEM: mechanicalbasis.org

WOW. What magical thinking. This just shows how little Prof. Sharpe knows about us. Fact is, many people with ME have sacrificed their health/bodies/and yes, their lives, in order to bring these requests and publish in academic journals with the goal of ending graded exercise.

I'd like to know which one of the contradictory statements the left is making is true:
1. The AR15 has no place in the hands of the civilians because it's a weapon of war
2. Civilians with AR15s are no match to the weapons the military can employ if it wants to crush a rebellion
Both can't be true.
But if you leftists are referring to the military bringing in the big guns - howitzers, tanks, stealth bombers, subs and even (as Piers Morgan suggested) nuclear bombs, you are out of your fncking minds.

(THREAD) #Clearly, Giuliani was blindsided when the reporters called in about the June 7 meeting. It was all news to him b/c Trump hadn’t said anything about it. So G should have said: “First time I’ve heard about this. My client never mentioned it. Let me get back to you.”
1/ Instead, b/c Trump had never mentioned it, G went before the nation on talk shows and said: “There was no meeting, and Trump didn’t attend it.”
2/ That of course makes no sense. What he surely meant was: “I believe my client has told me everything, and he didn’t mention such a meeting, so he wasn’t at it even though Cohen alleges (reportedly) that he was, so there couldn’t have been a meeting.”
